WCAG 2.2 AA
Accessibility statement
We want everyone who uses HRPoint and hrpoint.app to be able to do so, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
Last updated: 6 November 2026
Our target
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, for the HRPoint app in SharePoint and Microsoft Teams and for this website. That is also the web content level of the European standard EN 301 549 (version 4.1.1), which many public-sector buyers use.
How we test
- Every page of this website is checked with axe-core at 320, 375, 430 and 1280 pixels wide, in light and dark, and for sideways scrolling on phones, before each release.
- The website follows the device's light or dark setting, keeps visible focus outlines, works with the keyboard alone, needs no JavaScript and uses plain language.
- The HRPoint app is built with Microsoft's Fluent UI, follows the light, dark and high-contrast themes of SharePoint and Teams and Windows high-contrast colours, and its screens are checked with axe-core in automated tests before each release.
- Every number HRPoint works out can be explained in words ("Explain my balance"), not only shown in a chart or a colour.
Known limits
- Policies and documents your organisation publishes in HRPoint are your own files: their accessibility depends on how they were made.
- Parts of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams around HRPoint, such as the app catalog and the Teams admin center, are Microsoft's, and covered by Microsoft's own accessibility statements.
- We have not yet published a full accessibility conformance report. Ask us if you need one for procurement.
