Labelled every time
Every agent card and launch action carries an "AI agent" label, so people know before they start that they are dealing with AI: the transparency EU AI Act Article 50 asks for.

People and AI agents
Your organisation already uses AI agents. HRPoint gives each one an agent record with a named person accountable for it, helps everyone find the right person or agent for a task, and labels every agent clearly. It never scores or ranks people.
An agent record says what an agent is for and who answers for it. It sits in its own register, apart from people: an agent is never a person record.

One search box takes a task, such as "book leave" or "first aider in Leeds today", and returns people and AI agents together, matched on a shared list of tasks, the certificates people hold and who is available today.
"Add an existing agent" searches the AI agents register, and agent accounts in Microsoft Entra when an administrator has approved User.Read.All. A pasted Copilot share link or an agent card fills in the record, and the sponsor completes it.
A register page, open to everyone in your organisation, lists the agents in use with their purpose, sponsor and status, so people can see which AI they may meet at work.
Under AI agents, Sources, an HR admin presses Look for agents and HRPoint gathers the agents your organisation already has, as that person, from up to six sources:
Every agent found arrives in Pending review, whatever the source says. People see it only after its sponsor completes the record and an HR admin publishes it. One agent stays one record: a match fills empty details and never makes a second copy.
A file with a column that names a person is refused whole, and the instructions inside a SharePoint agent are never read.
Microsoft's Agents usage report looks back 30 days at most. Under AI agents, Usage and cost, HR keep one row per AI agent and month, on the HR-only Records site, so the figures outlast the report and the agent itself.
People can give an AI agent in use a thumb and a comment on its register card. Totals show only after five ratings. HR's AI agent feedback page can publish them, and makes a staff consultation pack as a workbook. Agent ratings never rate people.
With Microsoft 365 Copilot you can add the optional HRPoint Policies AI agent, a separate package that answers from your published HR policies with citations. What it does and what you have to do
Every agent card and launch action carries an "AI agent" label, so people know before they start that they are dealing with AI: the transparency EU AI Act Article 50 asks for.
No scoring, ranking or profiling of people, no reading of emotions, no predictions about individuals, and no routing of work by behaviour. How people use agents is never used to judge them.
HRPoint presents options and a person chooses. Agents never count towards your plan and never appear in calendars or payroll exports.
HRPoint and DirectoryPoint share one AI agents register and one list of tasks, whichever you install first. Reviews and retiring agents over time are part of OnboardPoint's agent journeys; HRPoint shows the record facts "No sponsor" and "Sponsor has left". HRPoint works fully on its own.
AI agents and Find help are switched off until an administrator switches them on. The setup wizard recommends it.
No. Only people records count. AI agents never count towards your plan and never appear in calendars, absence figures or payroll exports.
No. AI agents and Find help stay off until an administrator switches them on in HRPoint's settings. The setup wizard recommends switching them on.
HRPoint has no AI model of its own and sends nothing to one. Find help is a search over the tasks, skills, certificates and availability your organisation records, and shows why each result matched. AI agents run in your own Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams or Copilot Studio; HRPoint keeps their records and launch links.
No. Agent ratings never rate people. A rating is a thumb and a comment about an AI agent in use, nothing shows until five people have rated it, and ratings never change the order of Find help.
No. Find help shows a person as unavailable today without saying why: no leave type, no reason.
No. HRPoint and DirectoryPoint share one AI agents register and one list of tasks, so an agent is recorded once and both products read it.
Every new HRPoint set-up includes a 14-day trial of every feature. It starts by itself when the setup wizard finishes, with no key and no form. No extra Microsoft 365 permissions are needed to start.
