Try HRPoint in your own Microsoft 365
Install HRPoint, run the setup wizard, and a 14-day trial of every feature starts by itself. It runs in your tenant with your own sites and lists, so nothing you set up is lost when you buy.
Start in five steps
- Get HRPoint. From Microsoft Marketplace (coming soon), or as the app package: until the listing is live, email info@apps365ltd.com and we send it.
- Add it to your app catalog. A SharePoint administrator adds HRPoint to the tenant app catalog and deploys it.
- Add the web part. On the communication site that will be your HR Hub, a site owner adds the "HRPoint" web part (toolbox group Advanced) to a page and publishes it.
- Run the setup wizard. It creates the Workspace and Records sites as communication sites, or connects two you made, or keeps everything on this one site with weaker separation (only list permissions keep HR data apart), then adds the lists, groups and permissions. It recommends switching on AI agents; you can change that later.
- The 14-day trial starts by itself. Every feature, for everyone, from the moment setup finishes. No key and no form.
After 14 days
After 14 days without a licence key HRPoint becomes read-only: everyone can still open their own records, balances and policies, and nothing is lost. Recording leave, absence and changes needs a licence.
To keep editing, buy a licence for your organisation. A site owner enters the key in HRPoint under Settings, then Licence, then Enter licence key.
What you need
- SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365
- A SharePoint administrator for step 2, and a site owner for the rest
- Permission to create sites, or two communication sites made in advance
- No Microsoft Graph permission and no licence key
Add it to Microsoft Teams
In the tenant app catalog, an administrator selects HRPoint and chooses Sync to Teams (Add to Teams on the Manage apps page). People then open the HRPoint personal app, or a team adds HRPoint as a tab; a team's site needs its own set-up. If your organisation blocks new custom apps, a Teams administrator allows HRPoint in the Teams admin center.
Try it with fictional people
Not ready to add real records? Choose the Demo company when you set up, or an HR administrator can show it in Settings, under People source: fictional people across the UK nations, held in memory only, with nothing saved to your sites. A site owner or anyone in HR can also open it for one page load by adding ?hrdemo=1 to the address.
Trial questions
Do we need a key or a card to start?
No. The trial starts by itself when the setup wizard finishes. There is no key, no form and no card.
What happens after 14 days?
After 14 days without a licence key HRPoint becomes read-only: everyone can still open their own records, balances and policies, and nothing is lost. Recording leave, absence and changes needs a licence. Enter a licence key at any time to carry on where you left off.
Do we need to approve Microsoft Graph permissions for the trial?
No. The HR features work with each person's own SharePoint access. Importing people from Microsoft Entra needs User.Read.All, which you can approve later, or not at all and import a CSV file instead. Outlook calendar entries, automatic replies and sent emails need the optional Messages add-on.
Can we try it without real people's records?
Yes. In Settings, under People source, an HR administrator can show the Demo company: fictional people, held in memory only, with nothing saved to your sites.
Is anything lost when we buy?
No. Your sites, lists and records stay as they are. A site owner enters the licence key under Settings, then Licence.
